Altech officially opens New Zealand office

National distributor, Altech Computers Corporation, has officially opened a branch office in Auckland, New Zealand. This new Altech branch will better serve New Zealand customers with a local warehouse, service and sales support.

Antony Sheen, Altech’s managing director said the Altech Auckland branch office will be used to provide New Zealand customers with local warehouse, service and sales support.

"Altech is committed to providing high-quality products and working with leading manufacturers to create complete solutions." Vendors which will be distributed in New Zealand include Alphacool, Antec, Corsair, EVGA, Galaxy, ICU, Innovision, J&W, Maestro, MSI, NRG, Samsung, Thecus, Zalman and many others,” he said.

Sheen told CRN branch manager Johnson Koo will lead Altech’s Auckland office, with six staff members to help manage around 100 resellers.

"We expected with the new branch opening this [resellers] will significantly increase," he said.

The new Altech office will be located at Unit 3/99 Carbine Road, Mt Wellington, Auckland and open Monday through Friday from 8:30am – 5:30pm, said Sheen.

Koo said Altech’s decision to bring face-to-face support into New Zealand to help strengthen existing relationships and build new ones with New Zealand resellers.

Sheen said the distributor is looking to grow its presence in other Asia Pacific regions in the with "expansions over the next quarter".
