This year's Cisco Networkers gathering at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre held last week was a chance for the industry to get a view of the future from the world's biggest networking equipment maker.
Delegates were treated to keynotes from chief technology officer Guido Jouret and a special presentation by Australian comedian Shaun Micallef (pictured) who tickled funny bones even as event host, Cisco A/NZ vice president Les Williamson looked on.
Technology demos covered virtualisation, collaboration and borderless networks.
A partner theatre was the ideal opportunity to catch up with the solutions from the likes of EMC, BMC Software, Dimension Data and NetIQ.
