An iPhone 5 with a 4in screen – it is, let's face it, what we all wanted to see in the last iPhone. But good things come to those who wait, and according to Macotakara 4in screens for Apple's next phone (made by Sony and Hitachi) are already being delivered for production of the iPhone 5.
As if word on the iPhone 5 getting a size boost and being already in production wasn’t exciting enough, we’re also led to believe the latest Apple mobile offering will boast a marginally higher 330ppi resolution than the current (3.5in) iPhone 4S Retina Display. This upgrade is possible thanks to the new IGZO (indium, gallium, zinc) display, allowing Apple to offer higher pixel density in the same slimline form.
With Sharp making Apple’s new TV, LG and Samsung working on the iPad 3, and Sony and Hitachi producing the iPhone 5 display, it's no wonder we're seeing so many leaks about future Apple kit. If you want to keep abreast of the latest news, bookmark our Apple news feed.
