Adds to storage and security stable.

Lan1 has expanded its security distribution portfolio through a partnership with SIEM and log management provider LogRhythm.

The pairing seeks to capitalise on predicted growth of the security information and event management market in APAC, with analyst firm Frost & Sullivan tipping that the total pie could grow from $93.4 million in 2010 to $242 million by 2014.

Boulder, Colorado-based LogRhythm is the latest addition to Lan1's stable of security and storage partners which recently grew to include storage products company Iomega.

Lan 1 marketing manager Mathew Bertram said the deal was timely given the growing awareness of the cyber crime.

“IT security is a massive issue for organisations now.”

Lan 1 will provide the company’s threat detection, automated log correlation and management platform to a list of certified resellers.
