Your Gingerbread days are over, HTC Flyer owners – just don't mention Ice Cream Sandwich.

Did you snap up a HTC Flyer this year, dazzled by its 1.5GHz processor, HTC Sense skin and er, made-for-smartphones Gingerbread OS? If you did, your patience has been rewarded with an early Christmas present from HTC – the long awaited update to Android 3.2 Honeycomb for this pocketable tab is here.

Well, those who opted for a Wi-Fi only Flyer will have to wait a teensy bit longer as your update is coming "soon". Everyone else can ignore the Ice Cream Sandwich love-in for now and enjoy browsing, apps and HTC Sense finally optimised for that 7in screen. But unless you've got a sofa stuffed full of cash, don't read this.
