The Sony Ericsson Nozomi LT26i has finally been unveiled on the Xperia Blog and it’s packing a huge 341ppi display. Sony’s flagship handset will arrive in 2012 with the full Sony Ericsson branding – despite Sony buying the company out as a whole.
Sure, the Nozomi only has a 1.5GHz dual-core rather than quad, but with a 12MP snapper, 1GB RAM, and stunning 4.3in 720p HD screen (341ppi!), it could still hold its own against 2012's Tegra 3-toting smartphones.
But for now it’s all hearsay and rumour so we’re taking it with a pinch of salt. Especially the talk of the Nozomi arriving with Ice Cream Sandwich onboard, judging by the buttons on the device. Of course that might just be Sony being stubborn, or the images being false. Either way we expect an official announcement by CES in January.
