Apple is set to begin production of a new 15in MacBook Pro in April, with production on a 13.3in MacBook Pro set to kick off in June, according to supply chain sources talking to Digitimes.
Judging from Apple’s usual release schedule, Intel Ivy Bridge processors launching in April, rumours of a new Mac – and now talk of production plans – the new MacBook Pro line could arrive as soon as next month.
The big question – since the new Pro could do away with its optical drive – is will the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro range be folded into one ultimate device? With rumours of a retina display Macbook, and word on a 15in MacBook Air – we’d say hold tight for a whole new generation of MacBooks. And wouldn't it be nice if the screen was a removable iPad?
