Motorola RAZR HD hits the test bench

Runs Snapdragon hardware.

It may look like an insignificant list of benchmarking results, but the drab spread of figures in the table below may point to Motorola’s next superphone.

And whether the table found by Blog of Mobile (and dug out by SlashGear) shows the build basics of a speculative RAZR HD or Atrix 3, it does contain one bombshell – it looks like Motorola is switching to Snapdragon processors, in this case a Snapdragon S4.

That’d point to Texas Instruments being dumped by Moto, but more importantly to the Motorola RAZR HD (or Atrix 3) being a 720p hi-res Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone that could build on the success of the re-released RAZR smartphone.

Time will tell, but it’s not too late for the daddy of mobile telephony to steal back the limelight from upstarts like Apple and Samsung.
