Unified communications vendor ShoreTel has appointed Distribution Central as its second Australian distribution partner, after ending a two-year partnership with Avnet.
ShoreTel will work with DC’s Unity Systems division to bring its business communications solution to local resellers. The vendor also partners locally with Express Data.
Unity Systems’ resellers will have access to ShoreTel’s individual products - including IP phones, system management, VoIP and cloud offerings - alongside solutions from multiple vendors.
ShoreTel operates its IP phone systems business entirely through the channel. Unity Systems is now charged with bolstering support for resellers through ShoreTel’s champion partner program.
Unity Systems’ vendor lineup includes the likes of Avaya, Jabra, Lifesize and Zeacom.
DC's selection by the fast-growing ShoreTel comes amid a number of deal wins and accolades for the distributor.
Most recently the company added US securitty vendor Sophos to its growing portfolio. Earlier in the year it came 21st in the BRW list of Australia’s best employers.
