Samsung will launch its first direct retail outlet in Sydney mid next week, situated in direct competition with fierce rival Apple.
Samsung’s ‘experience store’ is located at 450 George St, Sydney, just 200m away from Apple’s own flagship retail outlet at number 367.
It is positioned in the retail hub of Sydney, sitting near the likes of Myer and Telstra, as well as retail chains such as Harvey Norman and JB HiFi.
Samsung has been sparse with details on its “first ever” Australian experience centre. The company confirmed the store will open to the public on Thursday 23 August.
Samsung last month launched a similar store in Canada, the first in North America. The Vancouver store is similarly laid out to Apple’s retail outlets, with the Sydney store expected to be styled in line.
