Telecoms provider calls Juniper Networks

Telecom New Zealand International (TNZI) has upgraded its global infrastructure, including A/NZ, with Juniper Networks.

TNZI selected the M-series routers and Integrated Security Gateways (ISG) to support its multiple-services, minimizing operational and capital costs.

According to Alex Krawchuk, sales director for A/NZ service providers, Juniper Networks, (pictured), there is a growing demand for advanced network services.

He said TNZI needed a solution that was cost-effective and could support all its services while at the same time, introduce new ones.

“Juniper is pleased to be providing TNZI a service-enabling network infrastructure, using both our routing and security platforms that will support their growth and innovation for many years to come,” said Krawchuk.

Charles Jarvie, head of International Technology and Operations, TNZI, said the routers and firewalls will reduce and simplify the changes it needs to deploy new revenue generating services.
