Ingram Micro has donated a number of products to help victims of the recent bushfires in Victoria.

Amongst the products donated are 48 ASUS notebooks, 13 Samsung 19' inch monitors and over 2,000 Telstra cordless phones.

The products will help bushfire victims rebuild their technology infrastructure.

Jay Miley, Vice President & Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand said that entire communities have been devastated by this tragedy.

"Right now there are a significant number of schools and communities, that in addition to dealing with the personal aspects of this tragedy, also lack some of the basic technology infrastructure that we all take for granted," he said.

"As a company we wanted to rally around with the help of our key suppliers and contribute to the appeal by offering some basic but critical technology to help these communities get back on their feet."

The products will go to Marysville kindergarten and will assist in establishing a community hub.
