BBC Digital expands geographically.

Canon has signed an agreement with managed print services provider BBC Digital, (Berwicks Business Centre) to provide services to six Canon Authorised Partner Channels around Australia.

The partnership will see BBC Digital expand its operation to include six Canon Authorised Partner Channels in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

As part of the deal, BBC Digital would become Canon's largest partner to join its Canon Partner Channel Program (CPC) launched last November.

The CPC program was launched to build "mutually successful business opportunities" in the rapidly growing managed printing services environment, according to Canon.

BBC Digital and Canon Australia will provide customers with managed document solution designed to reduce costs, integrate workflows and improve infrastructure.

Nick Wilson, channel development manager for Canon Australia said both companies are committed to "providing the best possible print solution that improves our customer's bottom-line".

Brian Nelson, general manager for Canon Partner Channel said BBC Digital's coverage in metro and regional markets further increases Canon's service and sales footprint, highlighting our commitment to growing the Canon Partner Channel."

"We are committed to helping our customers maximise the business value of their printing solutions by offering the most advanced multi-functional devices, software and service in the industry," said Andrew Hill, General Manager, BBC Digital.
