Acer plans to unleash a powerhouse onto the ultrabook battlefield with its Aspire Timeline M3. While Apple is rumoured to be ditching all things Nvidia, Acer has seen an opportunity to strong arm its way to the top using the best GPUs.
The new 15in Acer Aspire Timeline M3 Ultrabook will not only come with Intel Ivy Bridge processing power, but will be accompanied by Nvidia’s Kepler GPU, which uses mind-boggling 28nm architecture. That means low power-consuming graphics in a slimline package. So good are they that Asus has also been tipped to include the GPUs in its next gen ultrabooks. Ivy Bridge ultrabooks should start appearing in late 2012.
