Partners with Hills SVL.

Panasonic today announced its high definition visual communications (HDVC) solution will be available to the market from next month, through a partnership with audiovisual distributor Hills Sound Vision and Lighting Group.

The partnership means an extended distribution arrangement with the Hills Industries Group of companies. Panasonic has for several years worked with Hills SVL sister company PACOM for its security products.

Hills SVL will ship Panasonic’s KX-VC600 at an RRP of $8249 and the KX-VC300 $4899.

The VC600 model offers full HD 1080i images and split screen in multipoint call, while the VC300 holds HD 720p, and both come with full duplex audio, bonus mobile HD camera and low bandwidth support.
