Dzienciol to pursue other interests.

David Dzienciol, Symantec’s APAC and Japan head of SMB and channels has resigned to pursue other interests, the company confirmed today.

The company's Symantec.cloud lead for Australia, Brenton Smith, will take responsibility for APAC and Japan channels, effective immediately.

Symantec declined to discuss details as to why Dzienciol – a 13-year Symantec veteran - had left nor would it say where he had gone. His LinkedIn account lists his current role as with the security vendor.

The company confirmed Jeff Arndt would continue as head of its channel business in Australia.
