DiData brings UK security manager back home

Names new local solutions director.

Dimension Data has appointed former global security general manager Neil Campbell as its new Australian director of solutions. 

He replaces Duncan Brown who was promoted late last year to director of services. 

Campbell, a DiData veteran of 10 years, was based in Australia as security general manager until 2007 when he relocated to the UK and the position of European security director. He was appointed global general manager of security in 2008.

Campbell has previous experience with the Australian Federal Police, specialising in cyber crime.

Campbell is tasked with managing Dimension Data’s vendor and partner relationships. He will also oversee the company’s portfolio of solutions including security, converged communications, customer interactive solutions, data centre, Microsoft and network integration. 

Dimension Data has also appointed Darren O’Loughlin as general manager for connectivity and security, and Jason Ha as national manager for security.
