Techplus Distribution has been named as a new Australian distribution partner for telecommunications giant Allied Telesis.
Techplus joins Allied Telesis’ three other local distribution partners Anixter, Pacific Communications and WhiteGold Solutions.
Allied Telesis currently also holds a distribution partnership with Techplus parent Connector Systems in New Zealand.
Techplus Australian general manager Chris Barton said the Allied Telesis partnership complemented the brands Techplus currently represents, which includes the likes of ExaGrid Systems, Bradford Networks, Ruckus Wireless, Iomega, Kaspersky and Veeam Software.
Techplus will distribute Allied Telesis' complete product range, which includes routers, switches, network management software and wireless products, among others.
Allied Telesis' current customers include the Bethsalem Care aged care facility, St Frances Xavier, Mackillop College and St Pauls College.
"In each of these cases we worked with the end user and their preferred integrator to develop a solution and ultimately deploy it," a spokesperson told CRN.
