BlueCentral appoints new MD

George Kazangi has been named managing director of Australian managed hosting service provider BlueCentral.

The former head of Triforce Services will be responsible for driving the planned expansion of BlueCentral products and managed services business.

Kazangi brings over 10 years of hosting and IT consulting experience to the role, having previously specialised in in the areas of hosting and infrastructure strategy. His roster of previous clients include Allianz, Medibank Health Solutions and Holden.

With Kazangi at the helm, BlueCentral will focus on product innovation and the delivery of capabilities to meet its clients’ evolving demands.

“Our clients come to us for expertise and peace of mind in managed hosting services" said BlueCentral director David Burkett.

"Having worked with George previously, we know that his experience in managed services and solutions architecture will add significant value to our clients and business."

"BlueCentral's strategy is centred around product innovation to deliver substantial efficiencies and protection to clients at levels previously unavailable in the market," Kazangi told CRN.

"We will achieve this by developing industry-leading hosting solutions utilising technologies such as solid state drives to accelerate business applications and array-based replication protecting customer data."

The role of BlueCentral managing director was previously held by Olaf Moon, who took the position from Anthony Banek in 2011.
