Apple is set to release a 13in version of its flagship MacBook Pro notebook in September, according to a report.
The smaller notebook will sport a retina display, similar to Apple's current 15in laptop and iPad devices.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities told AppleInsider the new notebook will arrive alongside Apple's next-generation iPhone in September.
Kuo also predicted a refresh to Apple's desktop iMac line at the same time, specifically with Intel's third-generation Ivy Bridge processors.
Apple declined to comment on the report but CEO Tim Cook hinted at future announcements in today's third quarter earnings report.
"We’ve just updated the entire MacBook line, will release Mountain Lion tomorrow and will be launching iOS 6 this Fall,” Cook said in the earnings report. “We are also really looking forward to the amazing new products we’ve got in the pipeline.”
