Telstra has joined the legion of local network operators to release its pricing for the iPhone 5.
The carrier's plans are the priciest of the bunch, starting from $67 per month for the 16GB version, offering 1GB data, $600 value and unlimited text; to $130 per month for 3GB data and unlimited talk and SMS.
The 32GB iPhone 5 ranges from $71 to $132 per month, while the 64GB version is available from $77 to $137 per month. A full list of Telstra’s plans can be found on the telco’s website.
The smartphone is available for pre-order now.
It's also available for outright purchase from Apple for $799 for the 16GB model, $899 for 32GB and $999 for the 64GB model. The smartphone will start shipping locally on September 21.
The iPhone 5 is thinner, wider and more powerful than its predecessors. It is 18 percent skinnier at 7.6mm, 20 percent lighter at 112 grams, and larger with a 4in screen over the iPhone 4s’ 3.5in display.
Optus and Vodafone also released their plans today.
