CRN has a chat with Nick Angelucci from Creative Labs.

Your job title?
Marketing manager, Creative Labs.

What do you like about your job?
I get very excited every time I see a new product come in. It’s like working in a candy shop here!

And your dislike about it?
Remembering the names of the staff in our Asian offices. There are so many with similar names! Wai, Wee, Wah, Win .. . Why can’t they have Italian names like mine?

What’s your dream job?
I got it . . . that’s why I have been doing the same thing for 12 years!

Your strangest job?
Drilling four holes in thick metal plates for two weeks straight for a construction company. Ironically the workshop was part of a residential development and now my home address is at that actual spot.

Your biggest mistake?
Telling my father I didn’t want to work in the family business -- being ethnic he took it personally, which was quite sad.

Describe yourself in a word
Steadfast.

Favourite pastime?
Fishing .. . more for the hunt than the catch.

Favourite food?
Singapore chilli crab.

What are you listening to?

1980s funk classics CD -- highly recommend it.

What are you reading?
PCWorld -- looking for the ultimate gaming PC for myself -- any offers?
