The Sydney Centre is Dell's 10th globally and fourth in the Asia Pacific. Other centres are located in Tokyo, Japan and China.
Dell officially cut the ribbon yesterday. The centre has been in operation for two months, and Dell has already claimed three client wins.
The proof of concept, test and development centre offers briefings, demonstrations, design sessions and deployments.
Dell's global president of services solutions group Steve Shuckenbrock (middle) was on hand to open the centre. From L to R: Microsoft's Evan Williams, Dell A/NZ MD Joe Kremer, Dell Singapore regional director Man-Wei Lee, and Dell senior solutions architect Lachlan Botticchio.
The lab includes technology from Microsoft, VMware, Citrix and Oracle.
A proof of concept can take anywhere from half a day to two weeks.
