The Seagate Backup Plus is a 2.5in external hard drive aimed at road warriors who need to access lots of data on the go. It allows the user to store data locally, in the cloud or via social networks.
The Seagate Backup Pluse masures 123x81x14mm and weighs 224g. This makes it small enough to slip inside a jacket pocket or purse.
As its name implies, the Seagate Backup Plus comes with an extensive array of backup options. This includes a novel 'Save' tool which lets you quickly upload stored photos to social networks such as Facebook.
The Seagate Backup Plus comes with a USB 3.0 port out-of-the-box. This can be swapped over for USB 2.0, eSATA, FireWire 800 or Thunderbolt courtesy of the detachable connector module. (Other modules sold separately.)
