Over the next few days, software developers and IT professionals from around the country will be converging on the Gold Coast for Microsoft's annual TechEd conference. On Tuesday night, guests were given a sneak peak of the exhibition area where Microsoft and its partners were showing off various wares.
The night's entertainment was supplied by a DJ using a Windows 8 music app on an enormous touchscreen.
Thanks to Windows 8, some DJs may now find their jobs easier than ever.
There will be a strong focus on Office 365 at TechEd 2012. Stay tuned for coverage of the four-day conference throughout the week.

In stark contrast to its nominal presence at this year's CeBit, Nokia had one of the biggest stands at TechEd. Analysts see the latest 'Lumia' models as Nokia's last chance to compete with rival technology companies Apple and Samsung in the lucrative smartphone market.
