IT security niche products distributor, Unixpac has signed Sydney-based IT systems based integrator Ice Systems as a reseller of Unixpac IT security products.
The agreement provides for a non-exclusive license to market and resell all Unixpac products that includes among others; Sourcefire - an intrusion prevention and enterprise threat management solution and; Imprivata – an access and identity management solution.
Tom Piotrowski the managing director of Unixpac said Unixpac is continuing to reorganise the way it works with solution providers with a new move to improve its focus on the midmarket channel that is willing to branch off into IT Security space.
“We have seen examples of excellent work carried out in past years by the team from systems integrator Ice Systems and are confident their commitment and dedication to promote leading edge security technologies would help both of us to develop lasting and profitable relationship,” he said.
According to Piotrowski, Ice Systems help clients to integrate technology and best practices into their business.
“Currently they are building clustering, virtualisation, storage networking and security solutions. In the four years since ICE Systems was formed, they have enjoyed success and credibility amongst Australian organisations,” he said.
Lee Curtis, business development manager for Ice Systems said Unixpac and ICE Systems shared a common goal to find a comprehensive solution that worked without asking their clients to hire teams of security specialists.
