Epicor Australia is reviewing its channel program after its US company launched a three-tiered partner incentive scheme, CRN can exclusively reveal.
A spokeswoman for Craig Charlton, vice president Australasian Operations at Epicor Software, said there are no plans to roll out an identical loyalty program to Australia as yet, however, the current system is currently undergoing review.
In Australia, value-added reseller (VAR) partner benefits currently include marketing programs, global support, education and training, access to the EPICWEB partner site and access to user groups.
The spokeswoman confirmed: “We may make some changes. We are in the process of doing it at the moment but we are not in a position to speak about it for a few weeks.”
The American ‘Epicor Partners for Growth Program’ allows resellers to select one of three VAR classifications; Full Service Partner, Sales Partner, or Authorized Consulting Partner.
It splits into three achievement levels with Gold, Silver and Certified partners. Each one has incentives and rewards for selling and a greater level of involvement with Epicor, with Gold partners qualifying for the greatest support.
Incentives in the new three-tier US approach include increased sales margins, an intensive partner training and certification process, and direct reimbursement on marketing development funds. Benefits range from marketing funds, co-branding, increased commissions and discounts.
