Lexar Media and Australian Photo Supplies (APS) has made a partnership deal to distribute Lexar Media’s Kodak-branded flash memory products across Australia.
Under the agreement, retailers will be able to buy Kodak USB drives, Kodak memory cards and Kodak mobile memory cards directly through APS.
According to Richard Clarke, national sales manager A/NZ Lexar Media, in the past 12 months the digital photography market has grown with Australians averaging 1.29 digital cameras per household, based on a survey by Connected Research in August this year.
“The fast adoption of both digital cameras and multifunctional devices has in turn led to the need for reliable, first-rate flash-memory products,” said Clarke.
“This partnership will allow Lexar Media to increase its reach into the consumer photographic sector through Australian Photo Supplies’ established network of retailers for Kodak products.”
