Integ Group has appointed Maurice Nicholson as sales director, to drive the business of the IT&T integrator’s sales operations across Australia.
Ian Poole, CEO of Integ Group, said, in the position of sales director, Nicholson will further build sales capabilities to underpin the company’s growth goals.
He will also be focused on driving efficient sales processes to maximise return on sales and professional service resources.
According to Poole, he has excellent credentials and a proven track record for inspiring strong sales teams.
“We are very pleased that a professional of Maurice’s calibre is joining our team. Maurice has terrific experience across a wide range of customer segments and geographies, as well as solution selling in the ICT market,” he said.
“His experience with carrier networks is particularly valuable in light of our recently launched Service Provider Networks group, which provides carrier-grade solutions to carriers, utilities and large public sector departments,” said Poole.
Nicholson said the position with integrator is a great opportunity to work with an integrator that is well respected in the industry not only for its skills and professionalism, but also the large base of A-list Australian customers and strong vendor partnerships.
“I have some very specific goals with regards to enhancing the performance of Integ Group’s sales organisation,” he said.
“These will in part be achieved through the structured management of our relationships with customers and a move towards long term business partnerships.”
Nicholson joins Integ Group from AAPT where he spent seven years, most recently as the head of medium enterprise sales.
Previously, he worked in key roles with Telecom NZ and Netway Communications.
