Security vendor, Symantec claims spammers are already prepared for a Valentine's Day spam slaughter.

With a week away from the big day, spammers are busy making sure they have the perfect gift for loved ones this year.

The vendor claims it has observed the top 20 Valentine's Day spam subject lines have gone a bit towards the 'erotic' this year.

Although this might always be complimented with a nice watch or shopping spree.

Here are some of the headlines out there; increase your length, the best valentine's gift; get it before Valentine's day and watch her smile; Happy Early Valentine's Day, You have been selected to go on a $1000 Shopping spree to [Removed]; and Your Valentine's Day is about to get a lot better.

According to the vendor other potential headlines includes; Enjoy your Valentine's Day with a Grand Cash from us; Great watches for your Valentine; and Make your Valentine happy with the perfect timepiece.

There has also been an increase in subject lines in spam related to this special day that contain the following words: Feb 14, February 14 and Cupid, claimed Symantec.

It warns all romantics out there, if they receive an email from an unknown person, from someone purporting to be from a particular company or if it contains a 'loving' subject line, don't open it.

"So, if you haven't thought of what to get your loved one yet, surely spammers can give you a few ideas," said the vendor.
