The program has three membership levels based on reseller commitment to sales and technical training, and signing a joint business plan with Acronis.
The portal will provide a 24 hour one-stop shop for all sales and marketing collateral and technical resources including an online support enquiry form and material for partners to learn more about the company and its solutions.
"The Acronis partner portal offers our partners a platform to come together online as a community, giving resellers the edge when selling Acronis products by providing lead generation support and training materials," said Bill Taylor-Mountford, general manager Acronis A/NZ.
"In addition, the launch of this portal supports Acronis' tiered channel model and the Acronis Certified Engineer Program (ACE) which provides technical training on Acronis and its solutions."
The three membership levels are; Acronis Authorised Partner: access to online technical support, sales and marketing materials, trial versions of the software and technical training.
Acronis Certified Partner: sales training, technical certification, and access to joint marketing funds and the A/NZ channel manager.
Acronis Enterprise Solutions Partner: benefits from dedicated assistance and support from Acronis on pilot projects.
According to Robert Ek, managing director of GO Systems the new partner portal has a breadth of material available is easy to use.
"We started working with Acronis early in 2008 and have been very happy by their channel commitment and revenue generating programs in this time.
"I'm pleased to see the ongoing investment and focus which the company shows to us," he added.
Acronis distributors are Datastor, Manaccom and SAN Systems in Australia and Distribution Central in New Zealand.
