Express Data; Citrix 2008 Distributor of the Year

Express Data won Citrix's 2008 Australian Distributor of the year at its annual Partner Accelerator event last month.

The award was presented by Nabeel Youakin, VP for Partners and Alliances, and Peter Brockhoff, VP for A/NZ. 

The award was given to recognise Express Data's commitment to the partnership and the value-add that it provides to Citrix partners.

According to Peter Masters director of marketing and operations  for Express Data, its business strategy has always been to distribute only the top one, or where possible two, vendors in any given technology or software market.

"We've worked really hard with Citrix and in conjunction with our resellers it sends a great signal to the channel - that our attention to superior service is appreciated."

Chris Nixon, distribution channel manager for Citrix A/NZ agreed said the award recognises a successful year of partnership with Express Data Australia through channel initiatives, partner training and sales growth.

Criteria used to gauge performance of the winning distributor included;

Proven execution initiatives regarding distribution

Consistent availability of CCSP training - resulting in partners being certified

General knowledge on Citrix messaging and direction

A willingness to embrace new Citrix technologies.
