Avnet wins IBM Distributor of the Year

Avnet Technology Solutions Australia won the award for the second year in a row, at IBM Solutions Showcase 2009 national roadshow.

Recognised as the leading IBM distributor, Avnet Technology Solutions has achieved in several key areas including; revenue growth; solution architecture; and executing marketing programs that drive awareness and demand for IBM solutions.

Darryl Tucker executive of IBM Business Unit at Avnet said it was proud to receive this distinguished award from IBM. 

"Our business partners [have helped] in getting this in this award, for without them it would not have been possible," he said.

"We are lucky to work with such a dedicated and experienced group of partners. 

"Finally the award reflects and justifies the role that solutions distribution plays in the Australian channel, at each and every interaction that we have with our partners, we are continually striving to add value."

Andrew Baker, director of global business partners A/NZ at IBM Australia said Avnet's recognition is well deserved.
