SIGN09, the digital signage show Ingram Micro launched at Sydney expotech, will move to Brisbane's expotech.

Demand for digital signage is set to increase, with growth predicted at over 30 percent globally.

This is driven by an increase in products such as monitors, screens, media players, digital content controllers, content creation and management tools.

SIGN09 gives technology resellers a chance to learn about digital signage solutions.

Industry experts will be presenting on the opportunities in the market and aspects of designing and delivering digital signage solutions.

Jacqueline Bergin, Ingram Micro's business unit manager for Consumer Home and Office Solutions says there is already interest in Brisbane's SIGN09 and is encouraging resellers to register.

"It's looking like Brisbane will book out quickly," she said.

"Our resellers are always keen to look at growth areas, and digital signage is definitely gaining their interest because they can already see lots of opportunities with their customers.

"SIGN09 is a great way for them to get up to speed with the opportunities and technology easily," she added.

Brisbane SIGN09 is limited to 160 attendees.  Resellers can register for SIGN09 when they register for Expotech on the website - www.expotech.com.au.
