The online portal will keep partners and resellers up to date on product developments and marketing to help them sell Autodesk's 2D and 3D design and engineering software.

The Autodesk Partner Portal will replace One Team Web (OTW) as the online site for partner information.

Partners who have access to OTW can log into the Partner Portal immediately using their OTW username and password.

There is no charge to use the portal, and there is a brief overview demo and brochure on the current OTW site.

"Our goal is to provide our partners and resellers with tools that enable them to drive sales and growth, even in a challenging economy," said Ken Bado, executive vice president of sales and services, Autodesk.

"The Autodesk Partner Portal creates an entirely new and much richer interactive experience."

The Autodesk Partner Portal includes sales and marketing tools finder, serves as a gateway to most Autodesk partner-facing websites such as the Autodesk Customer Engagement (ACE) deal registration system and the Partner Centre order and support system.

It also has personalisation features to help partners control and customise user access, preferences, and personal information, as well as find Autodesk content according to product, industry.

In addition, there is an Events Publisher tool to create and customise events and publish them directly to Autodesk.com
