The channel distributors have partnered with gotalk to launch its SME Multi Line VoIP service which combines a standard PBX telephone system with broadband internet.

CEO Steve Picton said it will sign on more distributors in the coming months.

"We are currently facilitating compatability testing of various business grade VoIP solutions with a number of System Integrators and VAR's, so that number will obviously increase over coming days and weeks," he said.

"Resellers seem to agree with us that there is a significant small business market segment, using four trunk lines and upwards, who will find the cost savings offered by gotalk's Multi Line VoIP PBX very attractive indeed.

Picton said the Multi Line VoIP service will revolutionise the way small and medium businesses make and pay for telephone calls.

He said in the current economic climate the service will be popular with SME owner operators looking for ways to control costs without compromising efficiency.

"We are making it easier for businesses to make large savings by replacing incoming PBX lines with a broadband connection," he said.

"This reduces the monthly line rental cost of PBX lines, and enables large call usage savings to be made, by making VoIP calls instead of landline calls."

gotalk's Multiline VoIP business plans enable businesses to retain their current phone numbers including free Direct in Dial numbers and offer free calls between gotalk multi-line VoIP customers.

gotalk has partnered with Systems Integrators and Value Added Resellers to ensure a customised solution for customers.

goVoIP Business customers can choose from 21 broadband plans priced from $29.95 per month.
