POS POS will target a range of vertical industries with the Motorola products, particularly government and health, and is looking for resellers with expertise in these sectors and in related technologies.

"We are already working with channel partners in the point-of-sale (POS) and data capture areas but want to expand our network of resellers to include those with a good understanding of supply chain, wireless LAN and mobile computing technologies," said Avner Danielli, chief executive officer, POS POS.

POS POS specialises in retail POS, data capture, mobility and kiosk/OEM products.

The company has continued to grow despite the recession, citing its range of professional services and market-leading vendors as key to this success.

"We are determined to offer only best-of-breed products, properly supported by expert pre- and post-sales technical service," said Danielli.

"Unlike the traditional computer market our resellers demand in-depth expertise from us. They can't afford to invest in developing these skills in house and so look to value-added distributors like us to give them the advice and technical support they need to service their customers."

POS POS is developing promotions to attract and support resellers, as well as training programs and product bundles including complementary products from the company's other leading vendors such as Wincor Nixdorf and Zebra Technologies.

"The Motorola enterprise mobility and data capture products offer resellers good revenue opportunities," said Danielli.

"Our business has continued to grow, despite the recession, because many of the products we represent, such as in the supply chain area, offer operational efficiencies that deliver a relatively quick return on investment.

"In addition sectors of the retail market - particularly grocery, fast foods and hospitality - are still performing strongly."
