It allows ISPs and managed security service providers to protect their networks generating revenue through virtualised cloud-based security services.

The platforms run on the FortiOS Carrier which offers standard Fortinet unified threat management features, as well as carrier specific extensions protecting carrier voice-over-IP infrastructures and mobile phone operator networks.

FortiOS Carrier 4.0, the software component for FortiCarrier.
FortiCarrier-3810A platform integrates security into an Appliance.
FortiCarrier-5001A-DW part of a chassis-based security platform.
Fortinet products are distributed in Australia by WhiteGold Solutions and Firewall Systems.
Pricing for the FortiCarrier-3810A starts from $87,995 excluding GST, with the FortiCarrier-501A-DW starting from $94,995 excluding GST.
