Addcom is an international manufacturer of headsets, voice recording systems and telecommunications equipment.

Under the terms of the agreement, Addcom will distribute Nuance's Dragon NaturallySpeaking software in Australia.

"Addcom is a great addition to our existing partners, with a reseller channel that has a strong understanding of the voice market," said Vicki Rigg, channels manager Nuance A/NZ.

"Dragon NaturallySpeaking is the leading speech-recognition software, and partnering with Addcom, who specialise in voice products, means that resellers in the telecommunications sector can now offer their customers a total voice solution."

Addcom is looking forward to the benefits the agreement will bring the two companies.

Craig Alvarez, managing director of Addcom said its current products focus on customer's Voice, and partners come to them through its Voice Recording and Headsets divisions.

"It seemed almost natural for us to bring on Voice Recognition Software," he said.

"Dragon NaturallySpeaking is the clear market leader in this field. Our clients are always looking for ways to improve their efficiency; the products from Nuance are a perfect way to achieve this."
