Privately owned Australian company, eVideo, has inked a deal with LifeSize Communications to resell its HD video conferencing technologies to the Australian market.

As a new channel partner for LifeSize, eVideo will offer LifeSize HD video conferencing, telepresence and network products to a number of verticals including corporate, health, education and government customers.

Tom Morgan, director of eVideo communications said the partnership with LifeSize will allow the company to provide its customers with a ‘one stop shop'  to meet their video conferencing, telecommunications and data requirements.

He added: "The advent of IP-based, high definition video conferencing systems will change the way businesses - large and small - communicate."

Patrick Micallef, regional sales manager for LifeSize in Australia and New Zealand said, eVideo brings the expertise and the infrastructure necessary for LifeSize to grow its channel partner base across Australia.

"We realise the tremendous value eVideo Communications brings to LifeSize and we are absolutely committed to providing them with a fully encompassing channel program that supports their efforts and contributes to their ultimate success.

EVideo has partnerships with other IP vendors including Polycom, Crestron, Herman, Benq and Hitachi.

Last March, Telarus announced its partnerhsip with LifeSize high definition video communications and telepresence products.
