Recently appointed to the role after already serving for seven years with the print solutions vendor, Bell is keen to add to the list of fifteen resellers Lexmark currently has in the country.
"Our focus is on resellers that have the capability to be able to take a value concept to market -- one where it's not just purely about moving the box or the transaction," he said.
Bell says Lexmark is not yet as developed with this strategy in New Zealand as it is in Australia, where he is happy with the current number of resellers.
He emphasised that Lexmark is "very focused on trying to drive a value-oriented offer to the market" and is interested in working with partners who understand the print space and are able to communicate the value of printing solutions to their customers.
