XFX, a manufacturer and marketer of gaming technologies has added Altech to its list of distribution partners in Australia.

In Australia, XFX is known for its graphics cards, with unique designs and cosmetics, attractive packaging.

Kevin Hartin, marketing manager at Altech, told CRN that the two companies began partnership discussions in Taipei at Computex in June.

"The vendor is pretty much at the top end of the market and we are very enthusiastic about the deal," he said.

"It also has a unique way of packaging its product so it stands out on retail shelves."

Hartin said the vendor doesn't have a local office.

"Altech will provide full after sales support and handle all the return of faulty products to the manufacturer," he said.

Antony Sheen, managing director said Altech was pleased to be able to extend its graphic card offering with the addition of XFX, who we recognise as the preferred brand by high end gamers, to an already strong portfolio.

"With our first XFX stocks already in our Sydney warehouse, resellers will be able to offer the brand to local consumers," he said.
