Eric Krieger joins New Zealand security vendor.

Industry veteran and former country manager for Secure Computing, Eric Krieger, has joined Duo International as its sales manager to run its Ironkey Enterprise portfolio.

Krieger said he will take up the role of Australian sales manager for the NZ company and will be based in Sydney.

"I am so excited about my return, after taking six months off to smell the flowers. I am excited to be back, said Krieger.

"It's been a hard economic environment, the one thing that has never slagged is the need for security.

"I am involved in security at all levels and this product gives me that."

IronKey secures enterprise and government organisations using a USB flash to remotely manage thousands of IronKeys.

"The product excited me and it's a hot topic for the government," he added.

Krieger left Secure Computing as country manager after it was acquired by McAfee last year.
