Alloys announced today that it had joined forces with EMC to distribute its range of document capture products.

The products being distributed include EMC's Quickscan Pro as well as its suite of ApplicationXtender document management products.

EMC said it had selected Alloys as a distribution partner due to its "high level of expertise in delivering electronic document management solutions through reseller partners" as well as "their ongoing commitment to educate and train resellers on new incremental revenue opportunities".

"We are delighted with our appointment of Alloys as the specialist distributor for our small to medium business Content Management & Archiving products - ApplicationXtender, QuickScanPro and Captiva," said EMC CMA partner and alliances manager, Andy Rootes.

Alloys CEO Paul Harman said the company was "thrilled to be partnering with EMC".
