Azul Systems signs Melbourne reseller for region

GreenHat enhances enterprise application portfolio.

Melbourne-based GreenHat Consulting has signed a reseller agreement with Azul Systems.

US-based Azul Systems, provide enterprise server appliances for business-critical Java applications.

The deal will see GreenHat introduce Azul to the Australian, New Zealand and Asia-Pacific region.

Andrew Mumford, sales director for GreenHat Consulting said the deal was from a joint customer that "brought the companies together".

"It fits in our portfolio we [already] deal with Juniper and CA in that infrastructure network management space and the Azul Compute Appliances fits perfectly in that portfolio."

"The business benefits of the Azul appliances speak for themselves. The ability to eliminate Java application performance issues are very compelling," Mumford said.

Patrick J. Conte, senior vice president of worldwide field operations at Azul said the region understands the advantages and challenges of Java-based applications.

"We are very confident in GreenHat's ability to assist local enterprises cost-effectively achieve significant improvements to business-critical Java applications through the use of our appliances."
