Network to cover 14,500 students and staff.

CCNA has won a tender to implement an 802.11n wireless LAN at James Cook University's Townsville and Cairns campuses.

The reseller said the first phases of the network were implemented last quarter.

The network is based on Meru Networks technology.

The rollout was expected to be completed later this year. Upon completion, it will offer wireless network access to the University's 14,500 students and staff.

Wavelink, which counts CCNA among its channel, has distie agreements with Polycom, Digium and Meru.
