IPL to market Sennheiser voice to businesses.

IPL Communications had added Sennheiser Communications to its suite of voice, video and data products.

In a deal with Sennheiser's Australian master distributor Syntec, IPL Communications will distribute the Sennheiser CC 550, SH300, and DW DECT headset ranges.

IPL Communications general manager Paul Scanlan told CRN that Syntec approached IPL to help it broaden Sennheiser's reach from retail to the business space.

IPL will "purely distribute Sennheiser in the business to business space", he said. "Anyone that does voice we're after," he added.

Scanlan said he was "delighted to partner with Sennheiser and offer their world-leading headset technology to our distribution partners around Australia."

Sennheiser Communications is a joint venture between electro-acoustics specialist Sennheiser and hearing health care company the William Demant Holding Group.

IPL will launch Sennheiser headset products to channel partners in April.
