New addition to IP CCTV portfolio.

Lan 1 has signed an agreement with Sanyo to distribute its HDTV IP CCTV cameras.

Lan 1 said it is "keeping with its IP-based tradition", and will only distribute Sanyo's IP-based cameras.

Basil Delimitros product manager for IP CCTV and access control said Lan 1 was approached by Sanyo "to look at their IP based products" in Australia.

"Sanyo was looking for a way to get into the IP field," he said. Until now "Sanyo had analogue cameras."

The Sanyo range of cameras falls into Lan 1's IP CCTV portfolio, which Delimitros described as a "significant part of our business".

As part of the deal Lan 1 has offered 50 percent off the purchase price for resellers.
