Amigopod goes after local growth.

Wavelink Communications has signed an agreement to distribute Australian company amigopod's network access software.

The maker of the network management software said it appointed Wavelink "to accelerate its growth in Australia."

Amigopod software manages visitors on corporate and public networks.

"Amigopod's extremely complementary to Wavelink's existing wireless offerings," Wavelink managing director Ilan Rubin said.

Carlos Gomez Gallego, director of product management at amigopod, said the partnership with Wavelink "will help develop and drive new business in Australia."
