Pending announcement.

The securities of ASX-listed distributor itX Group have been placed in a temporary trading halt pending an announcement.

The securities will remain in the trading halt until next Tuesday or until an announcement is released to the market.

ItX company secretary Rick Marks made the request today in relation to a proposed transaction which is expected to be made by the close of trading today.

ItX last week confirmed it was in talks with potential buyers.

Meanwhile, IT distributor Avnet has reported record sales and flagged an expansion strategy in Asia Pacific.
